Self Reliance - A key to success

We always have a habit of taking help for each and every work or activity which we do in day-to-day life and it does not bother us at all of why we take help from others, why we require someone else help when we can do the same work by ourselves.

Self-Dependency doesn’t happen overnight as it takes time for us to get into the groove of self-reliance. Self-Dependency is important as it helps us to overcome the problem of dependency which we have on others for doing each and every work. As our Prime minister Narendra modi emphasizes about “aatmanirbhata” or self-dependency

Self-Dependency is really important as it is one of the main aspects of the Personality Development of Human Beings. It makes us strong willed and determined person, it makes us feel that we can do anything in the world on our own terms and for that we won’t require the help of anyone. It makes us belief on our skills and knowledge which helps us to build our self-confidence.

Self-Dependency can also help in the development of the country’s economy. If our Country achieves Self Dependency, it will reduce our dependency on other countries over defense equipment’s, latest gadgets etc. and will make us more innovative and creative.

Moreover, our Image in the global market will improve and we will be looked as one of the growing powerhouses on world’s economy.

Reasons why you should be self-dependent

1. Increases Self Confidence and Self-Esteem

2. Decreases the Load

3. Turns you Into an Asset

4. Enhances Your Reputation

5. Way of Financial Freedom

6. Dexterity and Social Independence

A Dose of Optimism

All of us face self-doubt in some or other situations but the question is how to overcome self-doubt. A motivational book, short stories, inspirational blogs, podcasts or listening to speakers could help you in killing doubt and insecurity. Honestly, these might count as little things but they do have a power to turn your negative emotions into positive.

India’s New Self-Reliance

Following the mantra of ‘Reform-Perform-Transform’, India has made great efforts to bring about transformation in the lives of millions of its citizens,” he said.

In just about 4-5 years, India has brought over 400 million people into the formal financial sector. “This was not an easy task. But India has proved that it can be done.”

In the same period, 600 million people have been freed from open defecation. “This was not an easy task. But India has achieved it.”

Also, more than 500 million people have been provided access to free health care services in just about 2-3 years.

“Today, India is one of the leaders in digital transactions. Today, India is providing digital access to its millions of citizens, and in the process ensuring empowerment and transparency,” he said.

The government has just a few days ago initiated a huge project for connecting India’s 6 lakh villages with broadband optical fibre, he said.

Prime Minister Modi said his government has ensured that there is no discrimination in extending the benefits of all the schemes and initiatives to every citizen of the country.

“Large scale efforts are being made in India to promote women entrepreneurship and leadership. Indian women, today, are the biggest beneficiaries of the largest microfinancing scheme of the world,” he said adding India is one of those countries where women are provided paid maternity leave of 26 weeks

Self-dependency can be resolved

Prime Minister’s call of ‘Vocal for Local’ (indigenous) has become people’s call now. To make our country self-reliant, or ‘Atmanirbhar’, we would need to make requisite efforts. For this, the people’s representatives, technocrats, leaders of industry and trade, social activists; all will have to make concerted efforts. We know that India has been a country of diversities. Every province, every district of our country, and even every village has its own specialty. Each region is known for one or more types of skills, agricultural product(s) or one or more industrial clusters. Generally, more than one type of characteristics exists in the same district. In the absence of incentives over the years, some areas have been losing their distinct identities related to their industries, skills and agriculture produce. Every district of our country produces a variety of excellent agricultural products. Unfortunately, due to lack of an appropriate system of incentives, storage and marketing, many of these products are facing the danger of extinction. Sometimes, despite having domestic capabilities in the efficient production of these products, the country has even to import them.

Social dynamics and Public speaking

Social dynamics is a term stemmed from the idea of the change in the behaviour of an individual due the influence of those around him in a group. The key point to take away from this topic is that it is truly a dynamic, meaning it’s active and changes with the environment that we place ourselves in. For example, I will act differently when I am out hanging out with my friends on a day compared to how I would act with my parents and their friends on the same day.  These are two completely different groups of individuals that I would have to change my communication skills for depending on the situation.

Understanding social dynamics is extremely important in our daily lives, especially if we are constantly in communication with others for career purposes, other professional settings, and even interviews!

It will be essential to take social dynamics into consideration because you want to look skilled, impressive, and adaptable with how you communicate in different types of settings and with different types of people. Knowing about social dynamics and communication skills is important to recognize because you will be aware that there are changes in the ways that groups communicate, which ultimately affects how you will interact with the group as well.

In an environment that is constantly and rapidly changing, social dynamics and communication skills form an imperative part of it. Effective communication skill can pave way to showcase and present our knowledge everywhere. By constantly interacting with varied people around us, we can identify happenings around the society and the world we live in. Thus, while concluding, I would like to mention that in order to sustain the social dynamics of the society,

For success in any field or in any organization, listening is a top skill that forms an essential part. If you are a good listener, you can be the part of that dream of success. In every scenario, having good listening skills are sure to come in handy, as you will truly listen to what other people say. Based on these suggestions, you can work towards improving your career!

There are mainly two types of social dynamics

Physical dynamic:

By physical progress we mean the progress in outward living conditions, like housing, agricultural and industrial production etc.

 Intellectual dynamic:

By intellectual progress we understand the processes of social cohesion and social disintegration; and also the forces which lead to social disruption

Among the most common forms of social interaction are exchange, competition, conflict, cooperation, and accommodation. These five types of interaction take place in societies throughout the world.

American writer Dale Carnegie famously said, “There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The one you practiced, the one you gave and the one you wished you gave.” His words are the testament to the importance of speaking skills when it comes to communication. Effective speaking has the power to change history, whether it is to turn the tide of war, or announce the independence of a nation. Effective speaking has the power of influencing people in a such powerful way that in this modern age people use it to launch iconic products, or even saving a company from bankruptcy through advertisements.

The right emphasis on the right words, perfect gestures, and voice modulation can change people’s mindset and also spur them into a cause. A common misconception of people is that effective speaking is a natural talent, and the people who don’t have it can’t influence people. But this is not true! Anyone can learn public speaking, what it needs is practice. People who don’t practice may not be able to speak in public, even if they have that talent.

You can’t take speaking skills lightly, no matter how talented you are. If you speak with conviction and passion, it will help the audience relate to you, believe in you, and remember you.

There are three main aspects of effective speaking:

1)      Vocabulary

2)      Voice

3)      Non verbal

Language is an integral part of public speaking. The words you use must suit the purpose and connect with audience. For example – the words you use while talking to a friend are different than what you use while talking to a teacher. Also, the length of the sentences matters a lot and show the depth of the speaker. For example – when captain America says “Avengers assemble” it became very popular at once, but had he said “Avengers, gather around me” it may not have been that catchy.

Another aspect of speaking skill in communication that is often ignored is your voice. It includes pitch, tone, and strength. How you speak signals your emotional state.

A low voice and too many pauses could denote hesitation. Clarity and volume could denote confidence. A strong and confident tone portrays conviction. People believe what you say when you deliver it in a strong voice.

Public speaking requires practice. You might be quite comfortable talking to small groups or in informal settings. But that is not the same as addressing a large crowd, which is why practice and rehearsals matter.

The final aspect of speaking skills is not about speaking at all. Nonverbal communication consists of body language. It includes facial expression, posture, eye contact, and hand gestures. Your body language must match your words for your address to be effective.

HUMANITY AFTER COVID 19

I have thought of halting my Travel Blogs and changing it to a new type about what’s going all around the world.

Humanity is going through a new and unpredictable experience with the rapidly spreading Covid-19 pandemic. We still do not know who was the first person to be infected and transmit it to others. The severity of this virus, which has caught the world by surprise, lies not only in the people in finding an effective vaccine, but also in the fact that the measures taken for it differ from what was previously adopted to confront various crisis.
There is no doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic will change the face of human society, but it forces us to ask some important questions. Will this change only affect the healthcare systems, or will it destroy the ecosystem, value systems, political senses and legal systems, thus leading to the fall of the huge financial and economic empires. Will the world get the answer of how to recover from this?
According to the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION problem does not lie in Covid-19 alone but rather in the fear, panic and terror caused by the spread of this virus, and shown by the media, which has been presenting the situation as if it were the end of the world. Causing the measures adopted by China, where the virus originated. To some extent, China succeeded in spread of the virus, thanks to the spirit of discipline in its people, and due to its health infrastructure, the mean of research centers and laboratories, and the ability to control the sources of information from the people itself. (China should be the most irritating country for the whole world I guess).
Most other countries have wasted precious time after the first cases appeared, relying on legal and security control in dealing with the pandemic and information about it. According to me no country wants to waste their time in other businesses like this leaving their important work. Me as an Indian is happy to have a great Prime Minister who is 24*7 ready for controlling any situation in his country and not me, the whole country should be proud of him and his teams work because this time is not to see politics all around u but to support him for the betterment of yourself.
Measures like quarantines, lockdowns, enacting new laws to manage the pandemic, using modern tools for e-learning and telework, ensuring the health of your country fellows and many more. These are funds that could have been invested in infrastructure or other major projects, but instead have now been used to respond to the immediate needs of the people.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
In this current situation different people are having different opinion about this lockdown.
Some people are stuck in different cities waiting for a light of hope to reach their hometowns and on other hand some are suffering from the disease itself.
On 24th March our honorable Prime Minister came on worldwide Television and announced the first lockdown. To be honest I had never heard that word ever before. It was completely new to me. I really thought that we were really in a surely containment zone but it was not. I always had a fear that even through a long far chain someone gets infected then surely we can easily be trapped. Especially my grandparents are stuck in the other city willing to come here but could not come as flights were not reopened. In this lockdown I learned making many new dishes and ya of course got an awesome habit of writing blogs.
Revolution that’s going to take place
Humanity is going through a big revolution, the kind that has occurred only twice before: first, after the discovery of fire; second, with the advent of agriculture; and third which is going to happen, following the Covid revolution. The most prominent sign of this ‘third revolution’ is the making of new technology and the of modern means of communication, which have made a conflicts in countries. Specially in sharing technology
The post-epidemic stage will see the emergence of a new human being, whose daily behavior and thinking will differ from what it was before the Covid-19 outbreak. The political, legal and economic systems will have to adapt to this new human being. Despite the timely importance of the current safety measures being put into action around the world, there is a great need for these to be put into a comprehensive post-pandemic thinking. In fact, we will find ourselves faced with a generation who thinks differently from the pre-pandemic generation.
In light of the impact of Covid-19 on the individual and collective behaviors of society and State, and people’s continued thirst for information, it is necessary to keep in mind the post-pandemic world when it comes to decision-making. The Covid-19 storm will pass and mankind will survive, despite the loss of many lives. Humankind will soon live in a world that is very different from the one before the virus.

MY NEW BLOGS WILL BE SHARED AND INFORMED SOON.
TILL THEN GOODBYE

HOPPING THE BORDERS PART-2

So now let’s move to our second destination Europe.
(refer to my 1st blog for a better understanding of this one- namatmathur.blogspot.com)

So the first thing which comes to my mind when I think about France is the beautiful countryside, cyclists wearing a plane black t-shirt, its rivalry with England (basically I am talking about history) and yes of course the unforgettable Eiffel Tower. The beauty of that country is really dynamic and ya of Course includes the bunch of arrogant people.

In the year 2014 my parents in all of sudden planned a trip to EUROPE for a week and it was really all of sudden and even it was surprise for me and after hearing that we are going to Europe, I was just jumping hoops all around the house and what else do you expect from an eight-year boy.
Finally, we boarded our flight from Dubai and had a 4-hour halt in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and finally after a 10 hour tiring journey we landed to Paris with our whole tour team. I loved the pleasant atmosphere there.

Then we went to our hotel Hilton Palace and had an amazing hot sumptuous brunch.
It was around 2 pm and we all met at the lobby to depart for visiting the Eiffel tower with our tour manager Arun Devlatkar. Finally, we reached that amazing place within an hour and was just amazed to see such an amazing sculpture and the worst part was when we needed to stand in a too long line in that scorching heat. I was shocked to hear that the lift of Eiffel tower goes in a diagonal manner. The view of Paris from the top of the Eiffel tower was just awesome.
After seeing the day view of the Eiffel tower we finally went to one the most beautiful river Seine and went on a River Cruise and even saw the water view of Paris. Around 8pm we had our dinner and ended our exciting day.
For me the second day was the most exciting because we visited to Disneyland Paris and the most exciting part was that we were there for whole day. We steered many rides and best one was the Hollywood train in which you can really get the feeling that you are in Hollywood. I loved their infrastructure and the way the things were made out.  I till now can never forget that 360-degree roller coaster ride in which me and mother went in a follow through but on halfway we got to know that it gets turned 360 degrees and our reaction was just “why are we here”. That was a dangerous ride.

We had a pure French brunch there and enjoyed many and many rides there and finally in the evening we proceeded to the hotel.

And one small bottle of water costed around 160 rupees. (500ml)

Overnight we were at the hotel and next day in the morning we left for the city tour of Paris.
During the city tour we visited many churches and even there is a myth that if we keep our leg on the center point of Paris, then u will surely visit Paris once again and even I don’t know why but I kept my leg at that point.
We again sat in the cruise and once again saw the Eiffel tower but actually it was night so we saw the tower sparkling with lights all over it. Paris is also famous because of its bridges and we saw approx. 15 different types of bridges and my favorite was the lock bridge in which if you put your name on a lock and key it on that bridge and throw the key in the water then your wish will be fulfilled.

Again overnight we were in the hotel and next morning we departed to Switzerland.
On the way to Switzerland we saw an awesome scenery of greenery all around, cow roaming all around with cow bells hung on them and those green hills. It was just awesome. During the journey we had a halt at a restaurant where we had some burgers and when we moved on our bus stopped and I asked my tour guide arun, that what is happening all around. He said this is the France, Switzerland and Germany border and I just rushed out my bus to see what’s happening down. It was awesome to see three countries in a same sight.

Finally, around 2pm we reached Albis, Switzerland and as soon we reached our hotel Holiday inn my brothers head just got banged on the wall of our room and had an injury on his head and after 30 minutes we had our gala dinner at the farmhouse. But it was all settled within 20 minutes and we went to the farmhouse that night.
The next day was very exciting as I was first time visiting a snow mountain in my life. It was Mt. Titlis.

We went to the top of the mountain in a slow moving train and the view outside was just awesome and finally reached the top.
I was shocked to see Shahrukh Khan and Kajols large posters there. Later I got to know that the film “Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge “was shot here.

We even played with snowballs. (what more do you expect from an eight-year boy)
The most amazing part of that day was riding on an ice flyer and having a snow view lunch.
Around 3 pm we departed for Lucerne, a beautiful city of Switzerland. We had got plenty of free time for shopping and enjoying the view of that beautiful place.
We returned to our hotel and had dinner.

Next day we again went to a snow mountain, Mt. Jungfrau where we went up in a ropeway actually a horror ropeway with all ice under you. Up there we enjoyed a lot playing with snow and while returning we had open ropeway which was more dangerous than the first one. Then we went to Interlaken (A city in Switzerland) and famous for shopping. We purchased many soigneurs like a cow bell, T shirts and mementos.
Finally, we had our dinner at the hotel and next morning departed back to Dubai.
This journey will always be remembered.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES TO HONG KONG, SINGAPORE, USA ………………………………………………………………………………………………..

HOPPING THE BORDERS

There is a certain thrill and excitement that comes with traveling to new places.

Seasoned travelers are familiar with the various regions, as well as the best strategy for packing for a trip of anytime. BUT YA, SURELY I AM NOT ONE OF A SEASON TRAVELER. I am just a traveler with a certain kind of thrilling experiences of different places in the world.
But many families and young travelers may be overwhelmed, wondering what they’ll need to survive. But that is something kind of a old mentality which is certainly not used in this kind of era. Anyway let’s come to the main topic.

SO EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO CONVEY YOU IS MY EXPIRIENCE OF LIVING AND TRAVELLING DIFFERENT COUNTRIES

So let’s start with first country United Arab Emirates
The Emirate whose name gives me a lot of excitement. Ye its Dubai.
More than half of my life has been spent there. My memories with this country is just unforgettable. The culture of this country is its own pride itself.

In the year 2011, I first time went to Dubai, UAE and was stuck in a pure Filipino hotel with a damn pure Filipino cuisine. Yeah, it sounds interesting, but it's not. Me a pure North Indian 7-year-old boy sitting in such a situation staring that food which I never tasted. Something really new for me and my parents.

In Dubai more than people of 150 nationalities like India, Pakistan, Sri lanka , Europe, Yemen and etc. live together like a single family. Behind our society there was a sand area where we all friends from different nations play and enjoyed discussing each other’s culture.
UAE gave me a profit of learning a new language ARABIC. I first found it difficult but later I started loving this language.

The all seven years, having same schedule was never a boredom in such an exciting country. The skyscrapers were the main attraction of that country that to in a night time was just like heaven.  The Desert Safari was one of my favorite experience in Dubai where your car climbs on sand dunes giving you a roller coaster feeling and ya how can I forget the kanddora dance, one of the most famous dance of UAE in which a person dances and just revolves without any stoppage.

The country only did not have artificial beauty but it also included natural beauty like it had many parks, botanical gardens, beaches and main attraction of the natural beauty was the Miracle garden which I loved a lot. A garden full of different types of flowers made into different structures and though made it my favorite.

There were malls like Dubai mall which was considered as world’s biggest mall and I have always enjoyed there and I used to go there with my family on Friday. The Mall of Emirates and many more malls have won my heart.

MY EDUCATION IN UAE
I used to go to one of the finest schools of Dubai ‘THE INDIAN HIGH SCHOOL’. I know it’s hard to believe an Indian School in an Arabic subcontinent. I made many and many friends there to interact in an unknown country. But I can never say this country unknown because this country has given me everything I wanted.

The Dubai Under Water zoo was an amazing place to visit where u can see many aquatic animals under aquarium and the first time I visited here was when I was in class 2 and finally the main attraction of Dubai, the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa. It consists of approx. 170 floors where u can only travel till 124th floor. The view from Burj Khalifa during night time was awesome. The first time when I went to Burj Khalifa was a very frightening moment for me.

CUSINE OF UAE

There was a culture of drinking an Arabic coffee Kawa. It even became my favorite. People prefer food without much spices and preferred light food.

Dishes like humus, falafel, pita bread and etc. were preferred by the people and me too.
My favorite Arabic dish was Falafel which was a very prominent dish of UAE and ya how can i forget my favorite Arabic restaurant Aroos Damascus (Syrian Restaurant). It was one of the finest restaurant in Dubai and ya of course it’s hard to believe that a Syrian restaurant almost ruling the cuisine of Dubai.

The 7 years just passed in a blink of an eye, but yeah it was awesome.
The story is yet not over.... the thriller is left
The day we were saying final goodbye to Dubai was though very emotional but the chapter is till now not closed. The problem arrived at the airport where due to government issues my visa could not be canceled. We had around 30 minutes to flight take of but this horror thing made us blocked. We never even thought about this but ya at the last moment it was granted leading to a very happy ending
GET READY FOR MY SECOND BLOG I WILL POST…………………………. Journey continuous..Europe,Far East,China, USA and many more

Self Reliance - A key to success

We always have a habit of taking help for each and every work or activity which we do in day-to-day life and it does not bother us at all ...
